Itel P40 Unveils; Super Cheap However Serves Colossal 6000mAh Battery & 6.6-Inch Show

Itel P40 has a slab-like, almost premium-looking finish, where the camera island spans the entire upper half of the phone in a black accent and mounts two lenses stacked on top of each other on the left side. On the same island resides a dimpled circular cutout, likely a back-mounted fingerprint reader.

Facing the front side, Itel P40 boasts an immersive 6.6-inch IPS panel clocking at a standard refresh rate with HD+ resolution at 1612 x 720 pixels. Melting inside the screen is a V-notch camera mount, housing a 5MP selfie shooter.

As with all entry-level smartphones, the P40 has subpar cameras at the back. Two individual silos discreetly house 13MP primary shooter and VGA depth mapper as the secondary assistive lens. The shooter atop the display is also a biometric scanner that uses face detection to unlock the home screen. Driving the phone is the Unisoc SC9863A chipset, which may be considered modest by some standards. It boasts eight Cortex-A55 CPU cores operating at 1.6GHz, while its GPU is the PowerVR GE8322, with a sub-par clock speed of 550MHz.
